The recruitment is open to all Indian citizens who are ITI-qualified. The programme is aimed at skilled and excellent individuals in various technical trades, to provide them with valuable experience.The training will be held at the Naval Dockyard Apprentice School, Visakhapatnam.The Indian Navy Dockyard Apprenticeship programme is being conducted under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Declaration For All
Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam Bharti 2024.
Candidates are informed that no person is required to pay any money for registration in this recruitment. All are advised not to fall prey to any so-called agent for registration in this recruitment.
The candidates will be required to produce a police verification certificate to join the recruitment. Failure to produce the certificate will result in rejection of their candidature.
The trainees are prohibited from joining any labour organization or similar organization or participating in any trade union group. Also, the trainees are not allowed to participate in any political work.
Preferably, a set of necessary textbooks may be given on loan to each apprentice trainee. All losses will be borne by the trainees concerned.
If accommodation is available, the cases of hospitalization will be first transferred to the Civil Hospital. If necessary, treatment will be provided in the Service Hospitals.
The trainees will be entitled to free treatment and medicine both in the Dockyard Hospital and the
Service Hospital during the training period.
The trainees will be responsible for paying the cost of uniforms and general luggage which are damaged or destroyed due to their own negligence.
It is to be noted that no accommodation or lodging arrangements will be made by the Government for the trainees at the venue of the written examination nor will any payment be accepted towards travel expenses.A total of 275 vacancies are available, and training for the selected ones is set to commence on 02 May 2025. During the training period,selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹7,700 for 1-year ITI holders and ₹8,050 for 2-year ITI holders, as per the Apprenticeship Rules.
